Alpine Homes will not do anything about the downspout of the rain gutter in the front of my house above my driveway. They told me it is up to code so they won't put in a down spout. It seems ridiculous to me that you wouldn't put in a downspout. At least if there was one I could direct it into a bucket or something instead of water just splashing on my driveway. In the winter here in Utah I will have a huge patch of dangerous ice. And if I put salt on it they tell me it voids the warranty of the concrete if it starts spalling. This situation is a possible danger to my family.
Anyway, here is a picture of the work they did:
By the way, all the other homes they built like mine have a downspout in front going to a hole in the concrete for drainage. They built my exact same model and it has the drain in the concrete. Alpine Homes seemed to forget they needed this drain and I get to be the beneficiary. Great job Alpine Homes.
