I created this website to document my experience buying a home from Alpine Homes in Utah. Now that the home is complete and we have had some time for the home to spew its post construction problems I feel like I can make a pretty educated assessment of how Alpine Homes did. I know what it is like to not have any information about a home builder and get started on the most expensive purchase of your life not knowing what to expect or what you got yourself into. Hopefully I can give an accurate depiction of the process of building a home with Alpine Homes so you can make your own decision about this builder and hopefully be more informed than I was.
Alpine Homes is a Utah company that builds homes and neighborhoods. They advertise and give consumers a high expectation, but be warned. The contract says that nothing shown in advertisements or pamphlets or on the web can be considered part of the agreement unless it is explicitly in the contract. This company will be as vague as possible to avoid any definite work they are required to do. If you decide to use Alpine Homes, get everything in writing or you will regret it like I did. Even in writing they will come up with ways of getting out of things they really don't want to do. They will try to weasel their way out of as much as they can.
