Spalling Concrete Driveway After 1.5 Years

I just noticed that my concrete driveway is starting to spall. It is only a year and a half old.

My front driveway looks like it is begining to spall. It should not be spalling after only a year and a half. My mother's driveway is over 50 years old and it has very little spalling. I am going to talk to some experts and see what they have to say about it. The driveway already looks like a picasso from the way Alpine Homes layed it and now it looks like it is spalling.
