Leaking Window Update

The repair guys are here fixing the leaking window.

The repair guys sent by Alpine Homes found 5 nail holes in the base of the window. This means the installers didn't accidentally put one nail in the wrong spot but 5 nails. The window guy said he has only seen this happen like one other time since he had been doing windows and he had been doing windows for a long time. What does that say for Alpine Homes? Well when you add up everything it doesn't make them look very good.

It makes me wonder what other windows are ticking time bombs. This window was leaking really bad with 5 holes. What if there is only one hole? We wouldn't have noticed it for a while and slowly the hole would have caused damage, mold, and any number of problems, electrical even.

They didn't replace the window. They just patched the holes.
