Concrete looks horrible

The driveway concrete they poured is covered with stains.

I thought this sort of thing was normal and would fade. Well it hasn't and from what people have told me it won't. I am going to have to live with this design on my driveway that looks like a 5 year old did. It does not look good.

It has been 2 months since they poured the concrete and it looks the same as the day they took the tarps off. Alpine Homes' quality on the concrete is the worst I have seen. I have never seen brand new concrete look this way. How can they pass this as complete.

After talking to a few concrete professionals I have learned that it is not 'normal' for the concrete to turn out with the stains unless something was done without care. They stated that unlike foundation and footing work, exposed flat work has an aesthetic value like any exterior finish work and that the concrete industry has standards for exposed flatwork and that it should be smooth and attractive and have a consistent finish. These standards have not been met. Alpine Homes made the decision to lay the concrete when the conditions were not favorable for the right outcome. The decision should have been to hold off until the conditions were right. Now I just have a huge slab of concrete that will cost me money to make look like it should have looked if they would have taken more care. This seems to be the theme of Alpine Homes. If they would just take the extra 5 minutes to do things right the first time they would have a happy customer that would be spreading praises about his builder instead of telling everybody that my experience was so bad.
